Joshua's 11th birthday is Saturday, June 20th, 2020. Father's day.
We decided as a family to celebrate his birthday by releasing white balloons with messages from his friends.
We will gather by the front of our house at 12:30 pm, trying to spread along the driveway or street to keep the 6 ft apart rule.
Please share with us in this blog a story, a moment, a funny memory, things that made "a mark" in your life after meeting Joshua. Also you can share "An Act of Kindness" done to you or by you on Joshua's memory.
While you share your memories, please remember to smile! He is alive and well!
We will see him again soon!

We want to say thanks to all the parents and kids for taking the time to celebrate with us Joshua's birthday in heaven.
We want to say thanks to Mary Ellen, Roxana and Wina for helping us organizing his celebration.
We want to say thanks to Joshua's friends in Clarenville, Central and the West Coast of Newfoundland. Thanks for Impact and MTRG Hockey family for being part of this beautiful and hopeful celebration.
Below I pasted some of the videos and pictures from that day.June 20th, 2020.
Seeing these balloons flying to the sky gave us a sense of peace and hope.
We know that Joshua is in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ, my mom and dad. What a beautiful company! He is surrounded by love and joy and we will see him again soon.
We love you Joshua!
I was really impressed with Joshua's knowledge of the Bible when I taught him in Sunday School /Kids Church. He was always eager to answer any question or ask a question if he didn't understand what was taught. He not only knew the Word of God but he lived it. His parents taught him well and although I know they miss him greatly there is a glorious day coming when they will be reunited again.
I always think and pray for you, Elizabeth and Bryan when I hear the song, "Not for a Moment will He forsake you. https://www.google.com/search?q=not+for+a+moment+by+meredith+andrews&oq=not+for+a+moment+by+mer&aqs=chrome.0.0j46j69i57j0l5.8384j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8.
Joshua, you were one of Emma's very first friends as babies and later as schoolmates. My family has been blessed to be a part of your life, to watch you grow and mature. How we wish we could watch you blow out your birthday candles now. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Joshua.
